Final Essay
A good thing about South Central is the friends you have. Another good thing is the places there are in Los Angeles. Something that South Central can improve on is keeping the community clean. Another thing is bringing peace to the community.Overall, I do life in South Central. Three most improtant events that have had the greatest impact on making South Central,LA what it is today are Early History of Watts,Gang history, and LA Riots.
The first event that made South Central Today is the Early History of Watts.This was important because it talks about Watts and what happened back then. Also because Watts is part of LA. I choose this event because I fell that what happen back then made the people who they are today. Also because this event took Place in Los Angeles.
The second event that made South Central today is Gang History.The first gangs were created to protect the Whites. Also the Black Panthers and the Brown Berets started to take control. The organization Called COINTELPRO destroyed These two organizations. When the Black Panthers and Brown Berets were destroyed gangs started to form such as the Crips and Bloods.
The third event that made South Central is LA Riots.These Riots are the most important because it was all over Los Angeles. The LA Riots started on April 29,1992 and lasted 5 days causing 53 deaths and 1 billion dollars in damages.The riots started because the brutal beatings of Rodney King.I choose this event because it was not so long ago that occured in Los Angeles.
In conclusion, These are the three events that made South Central.Early history Watts, Gang history, and the LA Riots are something that people are always going to remember. South Central will change in the future by having more population.Also hopefully there will be more peace in the enviroment. This is what makes South Central Today.
Bunchy Carter was born October 12, 1942 in Los Angeles CA. He died January 17, 1969 in UCLA. As the group was formed they helped the community by serving food to the people. One of his accomplishments was to create the Black Panthers organization.What made this person a great leader was making great decisions for leaving the gang to create the Black Panthers.

What makes a good website is the color,videos,pictures,and info you put in it.What makes a bad website is the type of stuff you put in the website.One thing is the amount of words you put in but has no pictures or videos.When i make my website i will put in info,color,pictures,and videos.
Community walk Reflection
1. The Broken Window Theory is things that are not taken care of.
2.One place that was uncared for was the old water tank in 109th.There was tagging all over it and it looked very old.Another thing was the concrete because there was a lot of tagging all over the we went on the floor.Finally the bus stop benches were also full of graffiti.These were the places that were mostly uncared for.
3.Some observations i saw about the community was that their was a lot of store.Another thing is that most of the houses were protected by their dogs.Also their was a lot of trash in the community.One business that i saw was that the Bakery shop and the Auto Shop.These are the observations i saw in the community.
